| Phil Jackson is a talented artist and with his wife Jan is a great
lover of Irish Water Spaniels but, although he has
painted many working Irish Water Spaniels, he doesn't just limit himself
to the breed, or indeed just to dogs. He works mostly on commissions and from many of these he
produces very limited (often as little as 20) edition prints.
As someone who has the interests of the working Irish Water Spaniel
at heart, he regularly donates money raised from his Irish Water Spaniel
prints to the
Sporting Irish Water Spaniel Club, to help further the cause of the
Irish Water Spaniel as an endangered working gun dog breed.
